Why Most People Fail Online

By David Ogden of TheInterBiz LLC

The Success or failure of any business on or offline is directly relates to customers, the more customers a business the greater the success.

The problem with the majority of online business opportunities is that the main thrust of the marketing is to increase the number of distributors following a multi level marketing MLM)method. But this method is flawed for two reasons:
1. Because the emphasis is placed on building a down line of distributors.
2. Until you qualify most of the money flows up line, meaning the people at the bottom make the least money.

Lets look at a traditional shop or business. The owner concentrates on building a customer base, providing products and services and by keeping the customers happy the number of customers will increase. All the profits go to the owner.

In time building on the success of one outlet the owner might open another outlet, but now need to have someone manage the second business, so will only receive a proportion of the profit as the bulk will go to manager who is building the new customer base.

Now lets compare the result of the two approaches to business
first a typical MLM building two legs

Level 1 You
Level 2 two people
Level 3 four People
Level 4 eight people for a total of fifteen

Now Compare this with an Organisation where customers come first and assume each business has just 25 customers

Level 1 You plus twentyfive
Level 2 twentysix + Twentysix 78
Level 3 twentysix+twentysix + twentysix + twentysix 182
Level 4 twentysix+twentysix+twentysix+twentysix + twentysix +twentysix+twentysix+twentysix 390

Now which business model do you want to follow one that build 15 people into your organisations or one that builds 390.

The sad truth about MLM's is that most organisations lack customers.

I prefer a business where I can get a good return from my frontline twenty six people on level 1 is much better than 15 spread over 4 levels.
